We must start today to create a more skilled workforce to enable economic growth in higher-paying jobs in San Luis Obispo county.
The purpose of the SLO Partners Precision Manufacturing Bootcamp is to create a career path and not just a job.
What type of students are you looking for?
Our primary focus is students with a positive can-do attitude who are open to learning new skills.
In other words, we “screen for attitude and train for aptitude.”
We don’t require existing tech or mechanical skills, but we tend to focus on students with the following characteristics:

What is the starting wage of a Production Technician in SLO County?
Typical starting wages range from $18-$25/hr on the Central Coast, but most provide opportunities for overtime, enabling you to earn even more.

Where is the class location and how long is it?
The length of the next session is still to be determined. Previous sessions have been 8 weeks. This class will be located at the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education across the street from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
