Introduction from SLO Partners Executive Director

Diversity Statement
Tech is a field that touches nearly every aspect of our lives. In order to develop innovative solutions to tomorrow’s problems, we need a labor force as diverse and innovative as the challenges we will face. The prospect of diverse, dynamic teams is at the core of our Ticket into Tech program, which was designed to bring people from all backgrounds and levels—”techie” or not—to experience exciting fields of technology.

Therefore, we encourage people of backgrounds less traditionally associated with technology to not only apply but showcase their unique perspective and talents in the process. Our goal is to not only admit, but support diverse applicants into the field of technology and beyond.

We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or any of the other important characteristics that make us unique and valuable.
